English and Portuguese at launch (more coming); kg/lb and kcal/kJ follow your locale. The coach answers in the language you write.
On mobile, logs queue offline and sync when you're back.
No. At most one suggestion is visible at a time, it leads with a number ("~25 g protein to go"), and it's always dismissible. Push and in-app are the same object — dismiss either and both clear. Nudges never appear on past days, and you can turn them off entirely.
From your own logs — pure statistics, no AI. After about five days of a pattern, Today starts sketching your usual meal times as gentle invitations showing the room you have left. It's announced once, never says "missed", and has an off switch in the You tab.
About 15 seconds. Onboarding is doing: you watch a day happen — say food, the math appears, the app reacts — then log a practice meal yourself. It lands in your real day, and you can keep it or toss it.
Yes — photograph your meal or scan a nutrition label and Nutians extracts the macros automatically. You can also just ask "what's on this plate?" — snap a photo to get ingredients and an estimate without logging anything, then turn it into a real log with one tap if you want. All of it shares the same quota: 2 scans per day free, 10 on Premium. Barcode scanning is unlimited on all plans.
Log your weight when you like — Nutians smooths it into a trend so day-to-day noise doesn't rattle you. Once a week, Premium's adaptive engine compares what you ate to how that trend moved, estimates your real energy expenditure, and proposes a small target tweak (capped for safety). It always explains the why, and you confirm before anything changes.
Yes, on Premium. Save meal and week templates, ask Nutians to “build the rest of my day” toward your remaining targets, and turn a plan into a grocery list. Plans are suggestions — nothing logs until you say so.
Yes. You can import weight and steps from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) and export your nutrition back to them. The sync is opt-in, runs through the platform’s own permission prompt, and stays on your device until you approve it.
Optionally. Cycle tracking is opt-in and shows a phase overlay for free. On Premium it makes your weekly review smarter — it recognises normal cycle-related water-weight so your review stays calm instead of overreacting to it, framed as reassurance rather than precision. Your cycle data is encrypted and never shared.
Yes, on Premium. Invite a coach or partner by email and they get a read-only view of your week — weight trend, logging calendar, target history, and weekly summary. Your chat and individual food entries are never shared, and you can stop sharing at any time. Cycle data is always excluded.
